Uriah Heep - Totally Driven (2015 2Cd) [Mega]


Totally Driven is the upcoming 25th studio album by British hard rock band Uriah Heep, to be released on 20 November 2015 on their own label, Uriah Heep Records. The album contains re-recorded versions of 27 of their best known songs, recorded with the long-standing 1986-2007 lineup.

The album was originally released in 2001 with a different track order as Remasters: The Official Anthology, but it went out of print quite quickly and was forgotten about. It was reissued in 2004 as Uriah Heep's Gold: Looking Back 1970-2001 without the band's knowledge by a European budget label.

According to guitarist Mick Box, the songs were recorded in preparation for the Acoustically Driven and Electrically Driven concerts.

Saxon - Battering Ram (Deluxe Edition 2Cd 2015) [Mega]


British heavy metal legends SAXON have set "Battering Ram" as the title of their 21st studio album, tentatively due this fall via UDR Music.

Speaking to the "Metal Hammer Magazine Show"about the musical direction of SAXON's follow-up to 2013's "Sacrifice", the band's frontman, Biff Byford, said: "Some of it is quite brutal, but there's quite a lot of melodic stuff on there as well. Every SAXON album is different to the one before because we like to entertain people and we don't really like to write the same song all the time."

To celebrate their triumphant return to North America this spring, Swedish metallers SABATON will release a special, three-disc limited-edition deluxe version of their 2014 album, "Heroes", in the U.S. and Canada on April 7 via Nuclear Blast.

Limited to 5,000 copies, this deluxe edition includes two discs of live audio recorded on the 2014 Sabaton Cruise in addition to the original ten "Heroes" album tracks.

Two Steps from Hell - Battlecry (2Cd 2015) [Mega]



Battlecry es el octavo álbum publicado por el grupo Two Steps From Hell, lanzado 28 de abril de 2015. Se compone de 26 canciones escritas por los compositores Thomas J. Bergersen y Nick Phoenix. Este álbum cuenta con la mayoría de todos los temas nuevos , a excepción de "Amaria" del álbum Amaria. Cuenta con interpretaciones vocales de Merethe Soltvedt, Nick Phoenix y Felicia Farrere.

Battlecry es el primer álbum publicado por Two Steps from Hell en ser liberado en dos discos y, además, la primera versión pública que cuenta con versiones instrumentales de dos pistas. La portada está diseñada por Steven R. Gilmore.

Virgin Steele - Nocturnes Of Hellfire & Damnation (2Cd Dgpk Ed 2015) [Mega]



La atmósfera barbárico-romántica marca de la casa está ahí, y es suficientemente épica como para no decepcionar a ningún fan de la banda. El problema es que la fuerza se queda en la composición, porque a nivel de producción una batería secuenciada a partir de una caja de ritmos revienta gran parte de la atmósfera. Si VIRGIN STEELE quieren mantener la fantasía (nada épica) de que tras los parches estaba Frank Gilchriest (que obviamente sí toca en los directos… cuando acude, ejem), adelante con ello, pero no deja de ser una rueda de molino para quien quiera comulgar con ella. No es la primera vez que acuden a artificios de este tipo en la grabación, pero sí es la primera en la que queda tan mal.
